Send mail to: mgnet@cs.yale.edu for the digests or bakeoff mgnet-requests@cs.yale.edu for comments or help Anonymous ftp repository: casper.cs.yale.edu (128.36.12.1) Today's editor: Craig Douglas (douglas-craig@cs.yale.edu) Today's topics: Current State of MGNet Research Reports Some Recent Papers of Interest ------------------------------------------------------- From: bells@watson.ibm.com (Craig Douglas) Date: Mon, 30 Sep 91 10:34:21 -0400 Subject: Current State of MGNet Things have been awfully quiet this summer. I have quite busy on something and have not pushed on people to contribute anything here. I will have some spare time each week to devote to pestering people about multigrid issues, so I am going to try to revive this mailing list much more often than once a quarter. Currently, there are packages contributed by Bandy and Dendy (boxmg), Bank (pltmg 6.1), GMD (amg, mg000, and mg01), and myself (madpack 2). Several others have made promises, but have not yet delivered (ahem). ------------------------------------------------------- From: douglas@blondie.na.cs.yale.edu (Craig Douglas) Date: Mon, 30 Sep 91 10:34:58 -0400 Subject: Research Reports Besides just getting codes deposited, I would appreciate it if people would send titles, abstracts, and how to get your recent research reports to this list. If you would like to leave a copy of a report at the repository, there is plenty of disk space. I would prefer people leave a report as a .dvi file (the output from some flavor of TeX) unless there are PostScript inclusions. If the paper is deposited as a Postscript file, a .PS file extension would be appreciated. If you are using some other text processing system, use whatever seems appropriate (please make it obvious). If you leave something there, please remember to get it removed once the paper is published... To leave something in the mgnet repository, do the following: % ftp casper.cs.yale.edu Connected to CASPER.NA.CS.YALE.EDU. 220 casper FTP server (SunOS 4.1) ready.
